恐竜博物館・越前大仏だけでも駆け足で半日かかります。勝山市には他にも中世都市の平泉寺がございます。街歩きと地元グルメもじっくり楽しみたいところ。勝山市お隣の大野市も北陸の小京都と呼ばれる実に趣深い街です。そして福井にお越し頂いたからには永平寺・一乗谷朝倉氏遺跡・東尋坊も外せないでしょう。勝山市のまちなかにある志ろきやを拠点に、じっくり数日かけて福井を満喫なさってください。
Just visiting the Dinosaur Museum and the Echizen Great Buddha takes half a day at a fast pace. In Katsuyama City, there’s Heisen-ji Temple, a medieval historic site, and you’ll want to take your time strolling through the Katsuyama town and savoring the local cuisine. Ono City, right next to Katsuyama City, is also a truly historic town known as “Little Kyoto.” And since you’re visiting Fukui, you certainly shouldn’t miss Eiheiji Temple, The Ichijodani Asakura Family Site, and Tojinbo. We recommend staying at Shirokiya, located in the heart of Katsuyama City, as your base and taking a few days to truly get to know Fukui.
